This is a super refreshing and delicious lemonade recipe!
I use sucanat which is minimally processed evaporated can juice. It retains it’s natural minerals and has a slight molasses flavor. It will also make the lemonade darker but it still tastes delicious! You can use agave nectar, maple syrup, or liquid stevia, too (just go easy on the stevia – a little goes a long way!)
- 3 lemons
- 1.5 Tbsp sucanat
- 2 cups of filtered water
- tiny pinch of grey or pink sea salt
- Melt the sucanat and salt with 1/4 cup water in a saucepan over medium heat. (don’t boil)
- Juice lemons.
- Combine all ingredients with water.
- Pour over ice and enjoy!
This makes about 2 small glasses.
I poured mine into two 12 oz Vintage Ball Mason jars, twisted on the lids and packed ’em for a picnic!
